Everything on this site, the templates, the prompt builder, the coaching notes, came out of one long stretch of me actually doing the thing: building real websites with AI tools, over and over, for real projects. Hours and hours and hours of it. This post is the honest version of how that went.
The tour of tools
I started with ChatGPT, spent a long stretch leaning on Gemini, and these days Claude is my go to. But I still cross-check between all three, and I recommend you do the same. Here is a thing that took me too long to learn: they do not mind. You can tell Claude that ChatGPT wrote something and ask what it would change, and it does not get its feelings hurt. It will even make the handoff easy for you. Treating them like three contractors bidding on the same job is not rude. It is just good practice.
What I actually rebuilt
The sites I rebuilt were not practice projects. Some were living on WordPress. Some were dormant domains that had been sitting far too long. And the most embarrassing one was my own: Cultivatum LLC, the company I run everything through, had a website neglected for more years than I want to type, because the brands always got the attention and the front door never did. If you have ever let your own site rot while you took care of everything else, I understand you completely.
Here is the honest score. Some sites came out in minutes and I genuinely loved them, and the only remaining work was refining details. Others took a lot of back and forth, and sometimes jumping between the different tools to figure out what one of them could not. Same person, same skills, different day, different result. That variability is real, it is normal, and it is exactly why every template page here carries a coaching note saying so. It is not a sign you did something wrong. It is just how these helpers are.
The part where you take my homework
All of that trial and error got distilled into what is on this site. The templates are patterns that survived contact with reality. The prompt builder writes the kind of prompt I ended up writing by hand a hundred times. Take them. Remix them. Feed them to whichever AI you like.
